Addis Ababa University cluster is now working. After a few months and the electricalRefurbishment works, the first Supercomputing Calculus Center in Ethiopia are concluded.
This month of March, SIE´s technician (David) and Mamel (Manel Recio´s Oviedo University Group) have traveled to Addis Ababa in order to teach the use of the new SIE LADON cluster.
David gave some speeches to the cluster's administrators on the use and maintenance of it. Mamel did the same on the use of scientific programs.
The project is together success of Physic-Chemistry Department and Sistemas Informáticos Europeos Ltd.
The name of new cluster is ENTOTO COMPUTING CENTER
