Sistemas Informáticos Europeos sponsors for the third consecutive year the c
postgraduate course "DNA phylogenies and genealogies". This year, it is already its 16th edition and it represents a course of great interest for the training of new bioinformaticians, of great scarcity for the amount of research carried out on this subject, with High Performance Computing, Deep Learning and Machine Learning systems.
This course, organized by the University of Barcelona, has great prestige and trains new professionals who are in great need to investigate cures for many diseases related to genetics. We feel very proud to continue supporting this type of initiative, which is getting closer to the scientific community every day.
We know that at a social level, the cure for diseases such as cancer is of great interest, but visibility and importance are not always given to the professionals who are working on this and other initiatives. The research carried out by researchers from the University of Barcelona and other universities in our country, carrying out studies both on humans and on other animal species, at the basic research level, is essential for tomorrow's cures.
