Sapphire Rapids Processors | Intel | New standard for data center architectures

Sapphire Rapids is a new generation of processors Intel Xeon Scalable designed to improve performance in containerized microservices and artificial intelligence applications.

It uses a modular architecture and a combination of acceleration engines, including a new performance core and integrated accelerators, to improve performance in a wide range of data center uses.

In addition, the new performance core includes new architectural capabilities such as Intel Advanced Matrix Extensions (AMX) to improve inference and training in the use of AI.
