SIE has delivered the equipment for the UPC contest
These teams correspond to the group of Dr. Carlos Alemán and Dr. Joan Torras from the Department of
Chemical Engineering Escola Tècnica Superior d'Enginyeria Industrial de Barcelona (ETSEIB) and is located on the new San Adriá de Bessos Campus of the UPC.
This group investigates innovation in Materials and Molecular Engineering, as well as Biomaterials for Regenerative Therapies.
They have been SIE clients for 8 years. The recently supplied equipment corresponds to the new generations SIE Ladón based on Intel Skylake and AMD Naples, as well as NVDIA GPUs.
They have been installed with Debian 9, fully compatible with the new architectures, with great customer satisfaction.
