This high performance equipment allows us to face all kinds of high performance processes, from scientific calculation to Deep Learning, through Machine Learning problems. In addition, it also allows graphic representation with virtual panels up to 16K.
Everything has been designed by SIE with great care: a 3.3 Ghz processor, which allows high-speed preprocessing when working with programs such as Ansys Fluent or Ansys Mechanical in double precision; an SSD disk of 92,000 reading IOPS and 83,000 writing IOPS, which allows calculations that play more disk like Gaussian 16 to be accelerated; Simulia Abaqus or Solidworks programs that take full advantage of the processor and the GPU; programs like Mathworks MATLAB that can work in simple, medium and double precision; machine learning processes at more than 118 Tflops, using the 5120 CUDA cores and the 640 Tensor cores. The performance with all of them is spectacular, offering a non-stop work environment 24×7 365 days and low noise in an environment of 20 dB (almost inaudible) for office or laboratory environments. All memory, both processor (DDR4 at 2.6 GT / s) and GPU HBM2, is the fastest on the market and has error correction. This represents that the memory carries an additional chip to the standard ones, allowing that if an error in the execution takes place, the calculation does not of a fault and continues executing normally. This is not allowed by i7 or i9 processors or Gforce cards.
