What are they?
The Next Generation EU(NGEU) is the massive €750 billion European Union (EU) recovery fund agreed by the European Council.
140 billion euros are earmarked for Spain, of which 73 billion euros are non-refundable aid.
These funds are intended to repair at least part of the damage caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, while supporting the Union’s long-term green and digital objectives.
When are they granted?
The NGEU is time-limited: 70% of the grants provided by the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF) will be committed in the years 2021 and 2022. The remaining 30% will be committed in 2023.
Who is the target audience?
All sectors of the Spanish economy are eligible for European funds. And these funds are mainly aimed at the main drivers of the economy and generators of employment: the self-employed and companies.
What is your objective?
The Recovery and Resilience Mechanism (RRM) is the core of the Recovery Fund of the Next Generation EU funds.
The Government is developing the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan on four cross-cutting axes
- the ecological transition
- digital transformation
- territorial and social cohesion
- gender equality
Which sectors are affected?
- Activation: early deployment of clean technologies and acceleration of the development and use of renewable energies.
- Renovation: improvement of the energy efficiency of buildings.
- Charging and refueling: promoting clean technologies to accelerate the use of sustainable, accessible and intelligent transportation.
- Connection: rapid deployment of fast broadband services in all regions and homes, including fiber and 5G networks.
- Modernization: digitalization of the Administration and public services.
- Expansion: increasing industrial capabilities in cloud data and development of next-generation and sustainable processors.
- Retraining and upskilling: adaptation of education systems to support digital skills and vocational education and training at all ages.
What is a digitizing agent?
In essence, the Digitalizing Agent is any company providing technological solutions and services that participates in the Kit Digital grant program to help SMEs and self-employed beneficiaries of the grants to advance in the digitization of their businesses.

What we offer from SIE and Moore
SIE is an official digitizing agent that can help manage the application for Next Generation European grants. Aimed at our clients who have projects for the future and who meet the award criteria.
Moore will filter projects by probability of success and manage the necessary administrative processes and reports.
All SIE and Moore’s services are 100% successful, without any prior payment on your part.
Who are we addressing?
We would like to meet and hear from you, in case you have any research projects.
The areas are: electric vehicles, health, renewable energies, the agri-food sector, the new language economy, the circular economy, the naval sector, aerospace and/or the digitization of the water cycle.
What are the deadlines?
The calls are called by the autonomous communities, the process is really complicated, and the deadlines are usually very short.
In addition, SIE and Moore will start working and generating the pre-reports in draft mode, even before they are convened. We rely on our experience and information we already have. In order to have everything ready when the deadlines start to run
How much will it cost me?
All SIE and Moore’s services are 100% successful, without any prior payment on your part.
Then there is a percentage in decreasing terms on the amount of the subsidy granted.
